First Home Game

Last weekend was Carolina's First Home Game so of course J-Bird and I made the trip to SC to watch our Gamecocks win.. it may not have been pretty but a win is a win.. RIGHT!?!? But we got to watch the game up close, thanks to our friend Kat and her sweet dad.  So here are a few pictures from the USC v. Navy Game..

HIATUS

Sorry for the extended hiatus.  The husband started his 3rd year of law school (as no. 2 in his class.. sorry had to brag a little there) so we've been pretty busy with friends coming back to town and getting back into the daily groove.  However, over the past few weeks we've had some pretty exciting stuff going on.

1. We found out some more information on our house back in SC so my mom and I have been drawing up plans for the remodel.  Stressful but very exciting!!  In just a month or so we will officially be HOME OWNERS!!!

2. Carolina football season has started.  Which I love no matter what, but with 2 wins under our belt.. I REALLY LOVE IT!!

3. My best friend got ENGAGED and moved to NYC.

New Pumps

As you know, I'm in love with pretty much anything Kate wears.  I've kind of become her unofficial long distance stalker.  And while she rocks the neutral court shoes all the time and makes the lower heels look fabulous.. my shorter stature, I feel, requires a little more of a heel than the LK Bennetts provide.  So I've been on the market for some great neutral pumps that I can wear with everything. 

I love these Michael Kors. 

the color isn't quite as neutral as the LK Bennetts but I like it 

I'm a pretty huge fan of every pair of Michael Kors shoes I've ever owned

I just love how the LK Bennetts look with a classic dress

SIDE NOTE - I'm obsessed with this dress and will have it
